Meet Meena!
Warrior’s Soul Therapy Dog
Meena is a Great Pyrenees who came to the ranch and Warrior’s Soul program in the spring of 2018 at 3 months old. She has left her big, sweet, furry paw prints on many, many hearts during her time on the ranch and has impacted many lives with her sweet, intuitive, and gentle nature. Meena can often be seen soaking in snuggles and love from ranch visitors and keeping family members company during Equine Assisted Learning sessions. Her calm presence has a peaceful, grounding affect on kids and adults alike.
Meena has had her own journey of healing and has amazed those who care for her with her stoic, resilient nature. She suffers from a rare condition that keeps her blood from clotting properly and has had to receive extensive medical intervention to save her life on more than one occasion due to what would be minor injuries for a typical dog.
She has pulled through, though, with strength and grace and her condition has improved with specialized care. Meena is a joy to everyone she meets and has been an incredible addition to the Warrior’s Soul program.
